About Japanese Language NAT-TEST
1.1 Overview of the Exam
The Japanese Language NAT-TEST is an examination that measures the Japanese language ability of students who are not native Japanese speakers. The tests are separated by difficulty (five levels) and general ability is measured in three categories: Grammar/Vocabulary, Listening and Reading Comprehension. The format of the exam and the types of questions are equivalent to those that appear on the Japanese Language Ability Test (JLPT).

1.3 Administration of the NAT-TEST
The administration of the NAT-TEST is handled entirely by the Administration Committee of Senmon Kyouiku Publishing Co. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan). In Bangladesh, Universal Languages and Skill Assessment Institute (ULSAI) is the DHAKA TEST CENTER, which is the responsible party for arranging the test for the citizens of the country. Dhaka Test Center allows any foreign examinee to register and participate here for the test by paying the allocated local currency of Bangladesh.
1.4 Overview of the Examination Process
- 1. Ensuring Application - Available until the application deadline (sometimes limited seat capacity) has passed for that particular exam
- 2. Receiving your admission tickets (admit cards) 4-9 days before the test day
- 3. Taking the Exam - On your specified exam day
- 4. Receiving your results, score reports and certificates of proficiency - Maximum 3 weeks for result and 6 weeks for score report and certificate
1.5 Application
Please apply for the examination before the application deadline (sometimes limited seat capacity). Your application will be complete once we have received your registration fee. No level change or refund will be applicable once after completing your payment. You must use the examinee's own phone number and email address to reach the necessary update and information of the test. For necessary documents, please check the APPLY ONLINE.
**IMPORTANT: No admit card is given immediately after the registration. Automatic money receipt sent to your email after the payment is the primary confirmation of your registration. When the deadline is over, we will send the second confirmation email to each applicant to the registered email address. If you do not receive any invoice (auto-generated money receipt), please email US to nat.dhaka@ulsai.com.bd mentioning your tracking number, name, date of birth, and phone number.
1.6 Admission Ticket (Admit Card)
You will receive the Admission Ticket (admit card) approximately 3-7 days before the test day. We do not provide any admit card immediately after the registration. To get the admission easily, please use one phone number once for a particular test. If any phone number is used for multiple applications, the test center will not be responsible for any download complications.
Please check your admission ticket (admit card) to make sure that your name, date of birth or picture is accurate and nothing is missing. If you require any correction, please follow our correction policy.
1.7 Taking the exam
Before the exam starts
Please arrive at the testing location by the time as declared in SEAT PLAN. As a rule, levels 3 and 5 of the exam will take place in the morning and levels 1, 2 and 4 will take place in the afternoon. Once you have entered the testing location, please follow the directions of the venue authority.
Identity confirmation
The invigilators will verify the identity of each examinee before the test begins. Please bring your National ID Card (NID), Passport or Birth Registration Card which you have used during your registration. No other documents like driving license, academic certificates or mark sheet/transcripts will be considered as the identity proof. Please check the VERIFICATION POLICY for details.
1.8 During the exam
If any examinee fails to reach the venue declared in SEAT PLAN, the examinee will lose the eligibility of attending the test. This is the responsibility of the examinee to check the seat plan and reach the correct venue.
The exam will take place according to the following schedule:
1.9 Receiving your score report and certificate of proficiency
Within the maximum 3 weeks of the exam date, we will publish the result, and, within 5-6 weeks, provide a score report and certificate to all examinees. About receiving the score report and certificate, please check SCORE REPORT AND CERTIFICATE COLLECTION POLICY.
The certificate and score sheet will be preserved at Dhaka Test Center for 180 days (6 months) from the test days. Examinees must collect the certificates and score-sheet within this 6-month duration, and after this duration, the documents will be disposed.

Procedures
- 1. The name spelling and Date of Birth must be according to the National Identity (NID) card or Passport. If there is any problem in name spelling and date of birth in certificate or score-sheet in future due to registration, the applicant will be responsible for this. (রেজিস্ট্রেশনের সময় নামের বানান ও জন্মতারিখ অবশ্যই জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র বা পাসপোর্ট অনুসারে হতে হবে। রেজিস্ট্রেশনে নামের ভুল বানান বা ভুল জন্মতারিখ প্রদানকারীর কারণে ভবিষ্যতে যদি সার্টিফিকেট বা স্কোরশিটে কোন অমিল হয়, তাহলে আবেদনকারী এটার জন্য দায়ী থাকবে।)
- 2. Valid email address and phone number must be given. If invalid email address or inactive phone number is given in registration, the authority will not take any responsibility for not getting any information by the applicant. (সঠিক ইমেইল অ্যাড্রেস ও ফোন নম্বর প্রদান করতে হবে। কোন পরীক্ষার্থী রেজিস্ট্রেশনের সময় ভুল ইমেইল অ্যাড্রেস বা ইনঅ্যাকটিভ ফোন নম্বর দেয়ার কারণে যদি পরবর্তীতে কোন তথ্য না পান, তাহলে কর্তৃপক্ষ দায়ী থাকবে না।)
- 3. You must upload valid ID copy (NID or Passport) in JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF format. (রেজিস্ট্রেশনের সময় অবশ্যই আপনার জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র বা পাসপোর্টের সফটকপি আপলোড করতে হবে)
- 4. From 3rd NAT-Test-2023, the application fee will BDT 4000/- (excluding payment gateway charges). (৩য় ন্যাট-টেস্ট-২০২৩ থেকে আবেদন ফি বাংলাদেশি ৪০০০/- টাকা (চার্জ বাদে) অনলাইনে পরিশোধ করতে হবে)

- a. Size must be according to the instruction during upload. Rough resize will not be accepted. (ছবি আপলোড করার সময় বরাদ্দ সুপারিশকৃত ফরম্যাট অনুসরণ করতে হবে।)
- b. Background must be clean. (ছবির ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ড ক্লীন থাকতে হবে।)
- c. Photo from photo will not be accepted. (মোবাইল দিয়ে ছবি থেকে তোলা ছবি বা সেলফি কোন অবস্থাতেই গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না।)

প্রত্যেক পরীক্ষার্থীকে পরীক্ষার কক্ষে আবেদনের সময় ব্যবহৃত জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র (NID), পাসপোর্ট অথবা জন্ম-নিবন্ধনের মূলকপি নিয়ে আসতে হবে। পরিক্ষার কক্ষে তথ্য ভেরিফিকেশন করা হবে। কোন পরীক্ষার্থী যদি উক্তউমেট এর মূল কপি আনতে ব্যর্থ হন, তাহলে তাঁকে পরীক্ষায় বসতে দেওয়া হবে না, এবং তিনি "অনুপস্থিত" হিসেবে বিবেচিত হবেন। অবশ্যই অবশ্যই মূল কপি নিয়ে আসতে হবে। ফটোকপি, স্ক্যান বা সফট-কপি কোন অবস্থাতেই গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে না।

১. পরীক্ষার দিনের পূর্বে কারেকশন নীতিমালা (Correction Policy before the Test Day):
১.১ প্রত্যেক পরীক্ষার তারিখ হতে এক সপ্তাহ পূর্বে ওয়েবসাইটে অ্যাডমিট কার্ড আপলোড করা হবে এবং প্রত্যেক পরীক্ষার্থীকে এ বিষয়ে ইমেইল করা হবে।
(1.1 Admit cards will be uploaded to the website one week before each test date, and every candidate will be notified via email.)
১.২ প্রত্যেক পরীক্ষার্থী অ্যাডমিট-কার্ড ডাউনলোড করে তথ্য চেক করবে।

১.৩ আবেদনের সময় আপলোডকৃত ডকুমেট (NID/Passport/Birth Registration) অনুসারী অ্যাডমিট-কার্ড এর তথ্য ভুল থাকলে পরীক্ষার্থী পরীক্ষার মধ্য (যেটি তারিখসহ ইমেইলে উল্লেখ করা হবে) নির্দিষ্ট নির্দিষ্টে অনলাইনে আবেদন করতে হবে।
(1.3 If any information in the admit card is incorrect compared to the uploaded document during application (NID/Passport/Birth Registration), the candidate must apply online before the test date [the exact date will be mentioned in the email].)
১.৪ যে তথ্য কারেকশন প্রয়োজন, সেই অবশ্যই আবেদনের সময় আপলোড-কৃত ডকুমেন্টের সাথে মিল থাকতে হবে- অন্যথায় আবেদন বাতিল বলে গণ্য করা হবে।

১.৫ প্রয়োজনীয় কারেকশন সম্পন্ন করে নতুন রিভাইজড অ্যাডমিট কার্ড সংশ্লিষ্ট পরীক্ষার্থীকে পরীক্ষার আগে ইমেইলে প্রেরণ করা হবে। পরীক্ষার দিন নতুন এডমিট কার্ড কক্ষে নিয়ে আসতে হবে।
(1.5 After completing the necessary correction, a revised admit card will be sent to the candidate via email before the test. Candidates must bring this new admit card to the test-room on test day.)
২. পরীক্ষার দিনের কারেকশন নিয়মাবলি (Correction Policy on the Test Day):
২.১ যদি কোন পরীক্ষার্থী পরীক্ষার পূর্বে কারেকশন সম্পন্ন করতে ব্যর্থ হন তাহলে পরীক্ষার দিন সকাল ১১টা থেকে রাত ৯ টার মধ্যে অনলাইনে আবেদনের মাধ্যমে সম্পন্ন করতে পারবেন।
(2.1 If any testinee fails to complete the correction request before the test day, it can be done on the test day between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM through an online application.)
২.২ যে ইমেইলে এডমিট কার্ড ডাউনলোডের তথ্য পাঠানো হবে সেই ইমেইলেই পরীক্ষার দিনের কারেকশনের লিঙ্ক দিয়ে দেওয়া হবে।
(2.2 The same email that contains the admit card download information will also include the correction link for the test day.)
২.৩ যে তথ্য কারেকশন প্রয়োজন সেই তথ্য অবশ্যই আবেদনের সময় আপলোডকৃত ডকুমেন্টের সাথে মিল থাকতে হবে, অন্যথায় আবেদন বাতিল বলে গণ্য হবে।
(2.3 The information requiring correction must match the uploaded document during the application; otherwise, the application will be rejected.)
২.৪ পরীক্ষার দিন বা তার পরে ছবি সংক্রান্ত কোনো কারেকশন গ্রহণ করা হবে না। শুধুমাত্র নাম ও জন্ম-তারিখের কারেকশন গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে।
(2.4 No corrections related to photographs will be accepted on or after the test day. Only corrections to name and date of birth will be allowed.)
২.৫ পরীক্ষার দিনের কারেকশন প্রসেস করে নতুন রিভাইজড অ্যাডমিট কার্ড সংশ্লিষ্ট পরীক্ষার্থীদের্কে পরীক্ষার পরবর্তী এক সপ্তাহের মধ্যে ইমেইলে প্রেরণ করা হবে। সংশ্লিষ্ট পরীক্ষার্থী ইমেইলের উত্তরে কারেকশন কনফার্ম করার পর কারেকশন চূড়ান্তভাবে প্রয়োগ হবে ও এই তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে অ্যাডমিট কার্ড ইস্যু করা হবে।
(2.5 After processing the correction, the revised admit card will be sent to the candidate via email within one week after the test. The correction will only be finalized once the candidate confirms it by replying to the email. Certificates and score sheets will be issued based on the corrected information.)

সাধারণত, পরীক্ষা শেষ হওয়ার ৪-৬ সপ্তাহ বা তার চেয়েও কম সময়ে ফোরাসেট ও সার্টিফিকেট জাপান থেকে আন্তর্জাতিক কুরিয়ারের মাধ্যমে ঢাকা টেস্ট সেন্টরে পৌঁছায়। বাংলাদেশ কাস্টমসের সকল প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন করে উক্তমেন্টস ঢাকা টেস্ট সেন্টরে পৌঁছানোর পরবর্তীই বিতরণ শুরু হয়। এই বিষয়টি বিবেচনা করে পর্যাপ্ত সময় হাতে রেখে একেসি বা ইউনিভার্সিটি সাথে সার্কস্কোরের সময় নির্ধারণ করতে পরীক্ষার্থীদের অনুরোধ জানানো যাচ্ছে।
সার্টিফিকেট ও স্কোর-শিট সংগ্রহ করার পদ্ধতি নিম্নরূপ:
১. পরীক্ষার দিন থেকে ১ মাস পর্যন্ত এর পরে ৩/৬ মাসের মধ্যে সার্টিফিকেট ও টেস্ট সেন্টার থেকে আন্তর্জাতিক কুরিয়ারের মাধ্যমে ঢাকা টেস্ট সেন্টারে পৌঁছায়। অতঃপর সেই সার্টিফিকেট নিয়ে এসে যথাযথ পদক্ষেপের সার্টিফিকেট ও স্কোর-শিট প্রহণ করতে হবে। এইক্ষুটুআনিট হায়াতীত কোন অবস্থাতেই সার্টিফিকেট ও স্কোর-শিট দেওয়া সম্ভব হবে না।
২. জমা দেওয়ার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় ডকুমেন্ট পরীক্ষার্থীকে নিজ দায়িত্বে ফটোকপি করে নিয়ে আসতে হবে। বিতরণের স্থানে নাট-টেস্ট কর্তৃক্ষের পক্ষ থেকে কোন ফটোকপি বা প্রিন্টের ব্যবস্থা করা হবে না।
৩. শুধুমাত্র জুরার (মেডিকেল ও মেইক্তিক ডকুমেন্ট সমূহ) কারণে বাতীত কোন ব্যক্তি সার্টিফিকেট ও স্কোর-শিট গ্রহণ করতে পারবেন না। মেডিকেল ও ডকুমেন্ট সমূহ অনা কোন কারণে পরীক্ষার্থী সেসিশিহীত হতে না পারলে শুধুমাত্র ও একমাত্র জন্য-সম্পর্কীয় ব্যক্তি (বাবা-মা, আপন ভাই-বোন, স্বামী) বৈধ জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের ফটোকপি ও পরীক্ষার্থী কর্তৃক প্রদানকৃত ব্যাংক থেকে উল্লেখিত প্রয়োজন অনুসারে (বা যা আবশ্যক) সার্টিফিকেট ও স্কোর-শিট সংগ্রহ করতে পারবেন।
৪. সার্টিফিকেট ও স্কোর-শিট এর কোন সফট কপি ইমেইল বা অন্য কোন ইলেক্ট্রনিক মাধ্যমে প্রেরণ করা হয় না।
৫. ঢাকা টেস্ট সেন্টারের সাথুহিক ছুটির দিন শুকবার, যে কোন সরকারী ছুটির দিন, এবং প্রতিটি নাট-টেস্ট অনুস্থিত হওয়ার দিন সার্টিফিকেট ও স্কোর শিট বিতরণ সম্পূর্ণভাবে বন্ধ থাকবে। উল্লেখিত দিনগুলোতে সার্টিফিকেট ও স্কোর শিট সংগ্রহ করার উদ্দেশ্যে ঢাকা নাট-টেস্ট সেন্টরে আসিতেও না আসিতে পরীক্ষার্থীদের দুঃখ বোধ করা যাচ্ছে।
